New Equipment For Our Club

Last week First Officer Dagfinn Kritiansen and Chief Officer Audun Marken from the Norwegian vessel 'Island Commander' came along to the clubrooms to present a new piece of valuable weights equipment to the club.

They are based in Montrose, serving in Europe on the Ekofisk Field for Conoco Philips.

We are extremely grateful for this most generous donation which will be put to very good use by club members.

Barbara Brown, from the ship's agent Kinnes Shipping Limited, was the person who enabled the donation to take place. Thank you Barbara for helping our club. She is a fairly strong lady as you can see from the picture.

Unfortunately our boxers were not around when they came to visit, so some Rugby club members who also use our facilities obliged along with Head Coach Scott Graham.

We have to own up, Barbara had a little help from her friends...
